Iryna Neporozhnya Osnach

Hi! My name is Iryna Neporozhnya Osnach, and I’m excited to share my musical journey and passions with you. Born in 1999, I grew up in the beautiful city of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain, where my love for music blossomed from a young age.

I started my musical adventure at the age of four with the piano and later added the violin to my repertoire at eight. By 17, I had completed professional training in both instruments, which set the stage for my future as a musician.

In 2018, I took a leap and moved to Rotterdam to study classical violin at Codarts University of Arts, where I had the privilege of learning under Natasha Morozova, and later, Hed Yaron Meyerson. My passion for growth led me to continue my studies in the master’s program at Codarts, studying with Hed Yaron Meyerson and Pavel Fischer.

Beyond performing, I’ve always been fascinated by the transformative power of music. In 2023, I earned a University Certification in Music Therapy, which gave me insights into the therapeutic potential of music and deepened my commitment to using music as a tool for healing and connection.

I’m also deeply passionate about fostering inclusivity and amplifying women’s voices in the arts. This inspired me to organize my first event, “Women in Art: Conversations and Music,” which created a space for dialogue and celebration of women’s contributions to the arts.

In 2023, I co-founded the Olga Trio with pianist Celia Cortes Manzanares and cellist Camelia Ciobanu, focusing on the works of women composers, past and present. We’ve already achieved significant milestones, including becoming finalists in the IV Concurso Nacional de Interpretación de Obras de Mujeres Compositoras.

As of September 2024, the Olga Trio has proudly joined the Nederlandse Strijkkwartet Academie, a step that marks an exciting new chapter for us as we continue to celebrate and share the voices of women composers worldwide.

A Passion for Growth and the Viola

With a growing interest in diversity and inclusivity, I’ve also pursued a Postgraduate Certificate in Gender Diversity and Equality, which has deepened my dedication to creating more inclusive spaces both in and beyond the arts.

During my studies, I developed a strong desire to learn the viola. For me, the viola represents a chance to grow as a more versatile and expressive artist. I am thrilled to begin this journey with the International Viola Academy, a community that provides the perfect environment for me to continue expanding my artistry.

The International Viola Academy offers a supportive space for musicians like me who seek to grow, connect, and explore new avenues in music. Whether you’re new to the viola or looking to expand your skills, this academy provides an incredible opportunity to develop as an artist while being part of a vibrant, global community.

I’m excited to share my journey with you and hope to inspire others to join the International Viola Academy. Together, we can celebrate music’s power to connect and create a better future.
